As the lead technical designer, I spearheaded the development of character guidelines tailored for AWS Training and Certification. By ensuring alignment with broader AWS brand standards, I successfully streamlined production workflows for the entire post-production team.
Design System
Establishing skin tones was our primary focus. We researched iOS and Android emoji standards alongside current design trends to identify the most effective and representative palette for our motion system.
By adopting a 7 to 9 head ratio, I moved away from overly 'cartoony' stylization toward a more grounded, professional aesthetic. These refined proportions strike a perfect balance between AWS’s technical authority and a warm, user friendly persona
This environment design system translates the AWS brand palette into a modern, minimalist aesthetic. By reducing complex scenes into fundamental geometric planes and lines, we’ve created a clean visual language that ensures brand consistency while maintaining a sophisticated, high-tech feel.
Synthesizing character and environment into a cohesive system.
